Our Story
Founded in 2022, Via Pacific Biotech has grown into a trusted supplier working with some of Canada's largest distributors. Our portfolio now spans over 100 products across the life sciences consumables space, from centrifuge tubes and cryovials to PCR plates and filter tips.
We partner directly with international manufacturers to source high-quality lab consumables, and we operate an active R&D facility in China dedicated to developing and refining new products. Everything we do is built around two priorities: quality you can rely on, and pricing that makes sense for labs of every size.
Meet the Founder
Hanje Chen, Founder
Hanje brings more than 10 years of hands-on laboratory experience to Via Pacific Biotech, including time spent as a lab manager with a heavy focus on biomaterials and tissue cell research. Hanje holds a Master's degree in Biological Science from Brock University, and founded the company to bring that same lab-tested rigor to the products we source and sell.
